Minotaur Maze

::DisturbeD:: Beach characters

DisturbeD characters watching Alexus Minotaur.

If you are a photographer in Second Life like me, you would know that something key for your shootings are the details: nice locations, furniture, clothes and of course props! Sometimes those props can be people on the background just walking by. Not always you would get people wanting to pose as extras for your scenes (who doesn’t want to be a star?), so what do you do? You use the old and trustworthy NPCs. What is an NPC? It’s the acronym for non-player character. That’s a term from videogames where you see a character that you can’t control, but here in Second Life we use it for…yeah characters we can’t control or in other words: characters we can’t use as avatars, so basically they stand there like props.

There are a lot of stores where you can get NPC’s, but in my opinion the largest shop is DisturbeD. They have tons of them and with all kind of thematic you may like. For this scene I decided to join a bunch of them that would fit on a beach.

If you want to get any of them, here is an interactive picture to find each of them on the marketplace.
